Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:
- The Savannah Police Department is currently investigating a Tuesday afternoon shooting. According to the department, the incident occurred in the 600 block of Cape Street. One adult male was injured during the shooting. Since the investigation is in its early stages, no additional information has been released. (WJCL News Savannah)
- A Beach Advisory has been issued for Tybee Island's Middle Beach. The area between Lovell Street and 11th Street is impacted by the Beach Advisory. According to The Department of National Resources, Coastal Resources Division, water samples from the beach contain high levels of enterococcus bacteria. (WSAV-TV)
- Condé Nast Traveler readers have voted Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport as the country's number one airport. This is the third consecutive year that the airport has won the coveted Conde Nast Traveler Readers' Choice Award. Over 24,000 readers participated in the survey. (fox28media.com)
