  1. The Savannah African Art Museum has released its line-up for its upcoming adult education series. The "Becoming Gendered: Gender Identity in Africa" series is free to attend and will be broken into three different classes. Click the following link for the full lineup and class descriptions.   2. The Chatham County Sheriff's Office has launched its Breast Cancer Awareness fundraiser. The "Flock Together" campaign will be raising money for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The goal is to raise more than last year's amount of $8,000. The campaign is asking for $40 donations in exchange for a sign to be placed in friends' or family's yards. (fox28media.com)
  3. A Savannah man is currently facing several charges connected to child sexual assault. Opollo Johnson, 47 years old, was arrested on Jul. 27. This month, he has been charged with rape, aggravated child molestation, and false imprisonment. He was employed with Savannah's Deep Center as a life navigator for youth. (WSAV-TV)
