- The Savannah Police Department reports a man was seriously injured during a Family Dollar shooting on Monday. The incident occurred on Montgomery Street near the Amaranth Place subdivision. As of Monday evening, the department had not yet arrested the individual responsible for the shooting but was investigating the incident. (WJCL News Savannah)
- The City of Savannah will be hosting a cooking oil recycling event on Monday, Nov. 28. The event will be at the President Street Plant on East President Street from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Participants will be able to dispose of cooking oil and grease at the event. Please place oil and grease in a sealed plastic or glass container before disposal. (WSAV-TV)
- Leilani Simon, the mother of the toddler who has been missing since Oct. 5, has been arrested. She has been charged with murder in connection to the disappearance and death of her son Quinton Simon. The Savannah Police Department reports that they will be releasing additional details soon. (WJCL)
