- The Chatham County Police Department officers were recognized for their service by the Exchange Club of Savannah with Crime Fighters of the Year Awards. The officers' dedication to their duty showcases the caliber of police officers in the community and helps to personalize them for the public. Although law enforcement may often be seen as a thankless job, this recognition was a reminder that a simple thank you can go a long way. (WTOC)
- Over 300 individuals gathered at the Civic Center ballroom in Savannah on Saturday to attend the annual Community and Unity brunch. This event was hosted by the Martin Luther King Jr. Observance Day Association. The event aimed to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds and honor the legacy of Dr. King. (WSAV-TV)
- On Monday, a woman was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Broughton and Whitaker streets in downtown Savannah, according to Savannah Police. The incident occurred shortly before noon, and the woman was taken to the hospital for medical attention. The Traffic Investigation Unit completed their inquiry, and the intersection has since been reopened. (WSAV-TV)
