Georgia Firefighters Rescue Deer Stuck In Soccer Netting

Firefighters in Georgia said when they found the small buck, it was extremely exhausted and could barely lift its head.

SAVANNAH, GA — Georgia firefighters recently came to the rescue of a deer that got its antlers stuck in soccer netting.

According to the Savannah Fire Department, firefighters found the small buck with netting from a soccer goal tightly wrapped around it antlers and neck Sunday.

It wasn't immediately known how long the deer had been stuck there; however, firefighters said it was extremely exhausted and could barely lift its head.

Once free, firefighters said it wobbled a bit from exhaustion before slowly trotting away.
