Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:

  1. Savannah native, Flau’Jae Johnson, helped take the Louisiana State University tigers to victory this weekend in the women's basketball NCAA tournament. As the daughter of the late rapper Jason "Camoflauge" Johnson, she is both a standout player and a respected musician signed to Jay-Z's record label, Roc Nation. Johnson, a freshman, has started every game and won SEC Freshman of the Year. This was the team's first appearance in a title game in history. (WTOC)
  2. Tripadvisor has ranked Savannah as the 14th hottest spring break destination this year. With a Tripadvisor score of 5.0 and more than 15,500 hashtag mentions on Instagram, it's no wonder the city has grown in popularity among spring breakers. This is one of the first spring breaks for many that is not impeded by COVID restrictions, and vacationers are eager to get out, as demonstrated by the 850 percent increase in searches for "underrated Spring Break destinations" this past week. 3. Savannah police are still investigating a death that took place on Monday morning in a Savannah home. The incident occurred on the 10900 block of Jamestowne Road. The police tweeted about the investigation on Monday, however, limited details are available as of the time of this writing. (WTOC)
