Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:
- The Savannah Police Department has arrested 30 individuals through a two-day operation titled Operation Total Focus. The operation was a partnership between the department and the Georgia State Patrol. Operation Total Focus also resulted in the seizure of five firearms, fentanyl, cocaine, crack, Oxycodone, and marijuana. (Savannah Patch)
- The Savannah Police Department reports that the car of a missing man has been located. Diontae Roberson has been missing since Aug. 11. The car was located within the city limits after the department received a tip. Anyone with information about Roberson's whereabouts is asked to contact the SPD or CrimeStoppers immediately. (WTOC)
- The Chatham County Emergency Management Agency has entered into its Storm Readiness Phase. The county also entered into a State of Local Emergency on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. Residents are encouraged to sign up for CEMA Alerts by texting CEMA to 77295. (WTOC.com)
