🌱 Parent University Returns + Step-Up Savannah's Annual Meeting

Here are the top three stories in Savannah today:

1. Savannah-Chatham Public Schools will begin offering Parent University. The COVID-19 pandemic made the programs unavailable. Parent University educates parents on how to be their child's first teacher. Click the following link to watch the full video about the announcement. (WTOC)
2. The annual meeting of Step Up Savannah will be held on Oct. 25 at the Georgia Southern University Armstrong Campus. The 2022 meeting's theme is "Step Up Together" and will feature Gary Cunningham as the keynote speaker. The event will be recognizing the organization's accomplishments in 2022 such as providing 247 individuals with workforce development and hosting financial education workshops for 491 individuals. 3. Keep Savannah Beautiful will be hosting volunteer clean-up events on Saturday. The community is encouraged to attend. The clean-up is in connection to the Great American Cleanup initiative that is sweeping the country. The organization will provide registered volunteers with cleaning supplies such as litter grabbers, bags, and gloves. (fox28media.com)
