Jurors will hear felony murder and related charges tied to an alleged New Year’s Eve assault on Wilmington Island, with the case finally moving forward after multiple prior trial delays.

Freight line from coast to northwest Georgia reports record traffic (savannahnow.com) — A major freight rail line linking the Port of Savannah to northwest Georgia just logged record container traffic, underscoring Savannah’s growing role in the state’s logistics network.
