- The 100 Black Men of Savannah awarded $30,000 worth of scholarships to students on Saturday. The six recipients had been actively involved in the program for at least three years. We give them every skill set to be successful." (WSAV-TV)
- Savannah police have arrested one person connected to a shooting that happened early Monday. The incident happened in the 2000 block of Skidaway Road near Victory Drive. Police said an adult male was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries as the investigation continued. (WJCL News Savannah)
- Hearse Ghost Tours is asking for the public's help after being plagued with thefts since August of 2022. Owners said roughly $10K worth of items have been taken since then, including batteries, tools, a generator, and cleaning supplies. “My fear is that we come in one day, the batteries are gone again, and we can’t do tours. That hurts the public and it hurts my drivers,” said owner Russ Lee. Despite filing police reports, the Savannah business has started offering public incentives for tips that lead to an arrest, including a $500 reward and free tours. (WSAV-TV)
