  1. The Metropolitan Savannah Hispanic Chamber will be hosting its sixth annual Awards Banquet and Gala on Saturday, Sep. 17. Over 300 guests will be in attendance for the event, which is meant to celebrate the accomplishments of Savannah's Hispanic business owners and community leaders. The event will take place at the Hyatt Regency from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Savannah CEO)
  2. The Savannah Police Department is still searching for a missing 17-year-old boy. Landon Pinckney was last seen in the 100 block of Grayson Avenue on Aug. 30. Anyone with information about Pinckney's whereabouts is asked to contact the department immediately. (WJCL News Savannah)
  3. COVID-19 cases have declined in Chatham County, according to the Georgia Department of Health. The county is now considered a medium-risk community due to the declining numbers. Health officials are still encouraging residents to wear masks in crowded spaces such as buses and planes. (WTOC)
