  1. The Savannah Police Department reports a water main and gas line rupture closed a portion of Skidaway Road on Sunday. The incident occurred between 42nd Street and Victory Drive in the afternoon. A crash caused the rupture, during which time drivers were encouraged to avoid the area. (Fox 28 Savannah)
  2. An Italian ammunition maker will be investing in the Savannah area. The $60 million investment will be used to build a plant in Bryan County, northwest of Savannah. Norma Precision will use the plant to make and distribute ammunition. The company has announced it will be moving its headquarters to Georgia. (WSB Radio)
  3. Georgia's high school football state playoffs will continue this weekend. The second-round matchups have been announced; dates and times will be updated as they are finalized. The full list of high school football state playoff match ups is available at the link. (WTOC)
