  1. A downtown Savannah wreck involved a Georgia state trooper. The incident occurred on Bay Street near the Fell Street intersection on Saturday night at 10:35 p.m. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries sustained during the wreck. An investigation into the incident is ongoing. (WJCL News Savannah)
  2. Healthy Savannah's survey results have been unveiled. According to respondents, more healthy food and physical activity options are needed in the community. The year-long survey's results were given to the CDC Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) Stakeholders’ Meeting on Friday.   3. The Georgia Historical Society has unveiled a new historical marker for the 1960s Savannah Beach wade-ins. The marker is meant to recognize the impact of segregation policies on public outdoor space access. To gain public beach access, African Americans had to travel outside city limits.
