Here are the top three stories today in Savannah:

  1. According to the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System, a student was found with a weapon at Windsor Forest High School on Wednesday. The weapon was located after a fight that occurred in the cafeteria. School officials were told by students that the weapon was seen during the fight. The incident is currently under investigation. (WTOC)
  2. Savannah authorities continue to search for a missing toddler. Quinton Simon, 20 months old, went missing from his playpen on Wednesday morning. The Chatham County Police Department reports that they do not believe the child's biological father was involved and they do not have any evidence indicating foul play. An Amber Alert has not been issued since that would require signs of an abduction. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
  3. The City of Savannah is collecting public input regarding proposed changes to the city's alcohol beverage ordinance. The city hosted a meeting on Wednesday to present the proposal to the public. According to city officials, the changes would streamline the city's alcohol license application process while increasing the city's ability to enforce existing policies. (Fox 28 Media)
