  1. Savannah voters will be deciding whether to approve a proposed Transportation Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) during the Nov. 8 General Election. If approved, the measure would fund Savannah's urban trail system. The Tide To Town system would include almost 30 miles of protected walking and bicycling trails. $10 million would be invested for pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements. (CarriageTradePR.com)
  2. Jurassic Quest has brought its show to the Savannah Convention Center. The show opened on Friday and will continue through Sunday.   3. WTOC has confirmed that recently terminated Officer Ernest Ferguson, 27, was arrested for drunk driving last month while on suspension for fatally shooting a man. He was pulled over by Liberty County deputies on Sunday, Sep. 11, for going almost 40 miles over the speed limit on East Oglethorpe Highway. He denied drinking but blew a .129 on a field breathalyzer test — far above the legal limit of .08. (WTOC)
