- The Savannah Chatham County Public School System reports that Savannah High School and Savannah Early College were evacuated on Wednesday morning due to reports of a gunman. Savannah SWAT conducted a full sweep of the school, room by room. The reports of a gunman were unfounded. The school's parents report that the district did not alert them of the situation. (WJBF-TV)
- The Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run will be racing over the Talmadge Bridge this Saturday, Dec. 3. More than 3,500 runners will be participating in the race. The starting line will be on Hutchinson Island with the finish line at the intersection of Montgomery Street and West Oglethorpe Avenue. (WTOC)
- Ice skating is returning to Savannah. The return is thanks to a partnership between the Savannah Ghost Pirates and the City of Savannah. Ghost Pirates Ice will debut at the Savannah Civic Center. The program will offer public skating, open skating, and stick-and-puck sessions. General admission is $10 per person with a $2 discount for children 12 years and under. (WSAV)
