- Two Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools students have been chosen for the 2022-2023 Student Advisory Council. The Georgia Superintendent chooses 67 students to serve on the prestigious council. The students serve as the Superintendent's ambassadors to their respective schools while gaining an important voice on education-related issues. (Press Release Desk )
- Hobbyists will be flying World War II planes over Savannah this weekend. The planes will be remote-controlled and presented at the Historical Society of the Mighty 8th Air Force's Remote Control Plane event. The event will be at the RC Field on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (WTOC)
- The search for a missing Savannah toddler has been upgraded to a criminal investigation. The Savannah Police Department is intensifying the search and is using every investigative resource to search for Quinton Simon, 20 months old. The department is searching dumpsters, drain pipes, pools, and ponds. He has been missing since Oct. 5. (The Hill)
