  1. The Georgia State Patrol reports it has opened an investigation into two car crashes that occurred on Interstate 75 northbound. Both crashes happened early Wednesday morning. A Cobb County Police Department vehicle struck the back of a Chevrolet Silverado. The second crash occurred during the first crash's clearing when a Honda struck a Georgia Department of Transportation truck. (WSB Atlanta)
  2. A judge has extended the deadline for Cobb County absentee ballot returns for the U.S. Senate runoff election. The order was given by Superior Court Judge Kellie Hill after the county failed to send out over 3,400 absentee ballots on time for the election. The county additionally failed to send over 1,000 absentee ballots during the midterm election. (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
  3. The Georgia Department of Public Health has released Cobb County's recent food service inspections. The report is for inspections that occurred between Friday, Nov. 25 and Thursday, Dec. 1.
