Comcast Office Tower to Anchor SunTrust Park Development

Visitors to the Atlanta Braves new ballpark in Cobb County will notice the presence of media giant Comcast by the time opening day 2017 rolls around.

Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that Comcast has signed a deal with the Braves to anchor the development of the new stadium and adjacent mixed-use properties with a large office tower. The Chronicle reports that the company is looking for up to 300,000 sq. ft. of new office space in the Atlanta market.

No details have been made official as of Tuesday morning, but Gov. Nathan Deal is expected to join Braves and Comcast officials at an event later Tuesday to formally announce the agreement.
