- COVID-19 cases among Cobb County's school-aged children are increasing. The cases are increasing for all age groups. The rate has reached a "high" category for the 18-22 age group. - Cobb Elections is facing another lawsuit. The county's election board has been sued for failing to send out over 3,400 absentee ballots. The failure impacted the runoff election this time. The county's election board failed to send out over 1,000 absentee ballots for the midterm elections. The board is arguing that the absentee ballots were sent according to the legal deadlines. - Smyrna's College Football Saturday watch party will be held today (Dec. 3) at Smyrna Market Village. The event will occur at 3:00 p.m. by Atkins Park. There will be an LED screen broadcasting the college football games live. Participants will enjoy games, music, and prizes while watching the games. (City of Smyrna)
