Four New Restaurants Coming to Smyrna
Smyrna's Economic Development Department said it's unusual for four restaurants to apply for business licenses in one month.
Smyrna’s restaurant scene added four new players in March. Boca Mexican Grill, Sub Zero Yogurt Bar, Happy Belly Truck and Café DeCuir all applied for business licenses last month.
Jered Sigmon, City of Smyrna’s economic development coordinator, said that the city routinely receives 15 to 20 applications for commercial business licenses each month, but usually only one or two of the applications is for a restaurant.
“It’s nice that they’re filling some of the spaces that have been vacant in Smyrna for a while too,” he added.
