- The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for Cobb County. The freeze watch is in effect through 9:00 a.m. this morning. Cobb County residents are encouraged to cover tender plants and prevent the possibility of bursting outdoor water pipes. (Cobb County Courier)
- The Cobb County District Attorney's office reports that a woman was sentenced to 20 years in prison for elder abuse. Shelia Knight was convicted of "forcefully" pushing an 86-year-old woman to the ground resulting in the woman breaking her hip. Knight did not re-appear in court when the jury reached its verdict. She was arrested by the Paulding County Sheriff's Office and returned to Cobb County. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
- The Georgia Department of Public Health has released its latest School-Aged COVID-19 Data report for Cobb County. According to the department, COVID-19 cases increased for children from zero to four years of age. For students between five and 22 years of age, COVID-19 cases decreased.
