Vinings' J. McLaughlin is Steeplechase Sponsor

The J. McLaughlin clothing store located in the Vinings Jubilee is once again a sponsor of the Atlanta Steeplechase.

But this year the retailer will be part of an additional effort to help benefit the event's designated charities.

J. McLaughlin is among the returning sponsors that will take part in a Sponsor Day event on March 20.

Participating businesses will donate a portion of their proceeds from that day to support Steeplechase charities.

“The Atlanta Steeplechase is one of the greatest springtime events in Georgia and we felt March 20, the first day of spring, was perfect for Sponsor Support Day,” said India Watson, marketing director for the Atlanta Steeplechase.

Held on 400 acres of countryside on the banks of the Etowah River, the Atlanta Steeplechase draws more than 25,000 people each year. 

The Steeplechase is a day filled with thrilling horse races, hat contests, tent contests, a foxhound parade, skydivers, children’s activities, terrier races, Frisbee dogs, shopping, people watching and much more.
