  1. Smyrna's License and Variance Board Meeting, which was scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 10:00 a.m., has been canceled. The next meeting will be held on Dec. 14 at 10:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at A. Max Bacon City Hall. The meeting is scheduled to review alcohol license and property variance applications.   2. Gov. Brian Kemp campaigned for U.S. Senate candidate Herschel Walker in Smyrna on Saturday. The campaign rally was held in a county parking lot. The state's runoff election for the U.S. Senate seat will be on Tuesday, Dec. 6. Walker is running against U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock. (Georgia Sun)
  3. The City of Smyrna will be hosting a Traffic Calming Committee meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at A. Max Bacon City Hall on the second floor in the Admin Conference Room. The meeting will review the traffic calming priority list, project timelines, and new areas of concern. (City of Smyrna)
