Man Stabbed To Death In Smyrna Apartment: Cobb Police

The Cobb County Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened over the weekend at a Smyrna apartment, which left one man dead.

SMYRNA, GA — One man was found stabbed in his Smyrna apartment over the weekend, and Cobb County police are investigating the incident as a homicide.

Around 11:52 p.m. Saturday, Cobb County Police Department officers responded to a call of a person stabbed at an apartment complex on Old Concord Road in Smyrna. They found 28-year-old Oscar Hernandez inside the apartment with multiple injuries, according to Cobb police spokesperson Sgt. Wayne Delk.

"Lifesaving measures were unsuccessful and Mr. Hernandez died at the scene," Delk said.
