Here are the top three stories today in Smyrna-Vinings:

1. Vinings' The Music Studio Atlanta has expanded into East Cobb. The expansion features a beautiful 5,000-square-foot studio. The studio celebrated an official grand opening and ribbon cutting on Nov. 2. The studio offers piano, voice, guitar, strings, and drums instruction with professional staff. 2. The Cobb County Board of Elections and Registrations has recertified the midterm election results. The recertification occurred on Wednesday during a meeting at 2:30 p.m. The recertification was necessary after the Kennesaw City Council Post 1 recount changed the results. (11 Alive)
3. Cobb County police have secured an arrest warrant for a former coach at a nationally-ranked competitive cheerleading gym in Cobb County. Former coach Robert Stone of Marietta's Stingray Allstars gym has been accused of raping a 15-year-old in Dec. 2020. Cobb County police opened an investigation once the victim came forward.
