- Portuguese cuisine coming soon: The Peri Peri Grill is set to open a second location in the near future. Peri Peri already has one restaurant located in Johns Creek, and the second location is set to be near the Johnny Rockets in the Hilton Garden Inn on 275 Baker St. NW according to the building permits filed earlier this month. Although an opening date has not been set yet, the company's website has indicated that they will be "opening soon." (What Now Atlanta)
- It's that time of the year again, opera and ballet season is underway at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. An elegant night at the theatre deserves an equally elegant meal before or after, and there are plenty of options close by. Choices like Canoe, 101 Steak, and C&S Seafood and Oyster Bar are within three miles of the centre if you are looking to have dinner before the show. If you want to keep the party going for a late night snack or glass of wine you can check out Park Bench, Bartaco, or Dixie Tavern which are all close by. (Eater Atlanta)
- The shooting and killing of Barcelona Wine Bar's manager in 2017 has been closed as the four men accused pleaded guilty. Chelsea Beller, the former manager of the popular Atlanta restaurant was closing for the night on Nov. 19 when three men forced their way into the restaurant, stole from the safe, and shot Beller in the shoulder which later was the cause for her death. On Monday, Carlous Bailey, Terry Jones, Samuel Ott, and Ira Williams all pleaded guilty to murder and other charges. (WSB Atlanta)
