Pics: This Is What Inside SunTrust Park Looks Like

SMYRNA, GA -- With all the talk about traffic and logistics surrounding the Atlanta Braves' new stadium, it's easy to miss the forest for the trees, or in this case, the diamond that is SunTrust Park -- and what a beautiful diamond it is.

As the countdown to Opening Day nears, the Braves new stadium has opened its doors to the public for a handful of events, including a baseball preseason game and a University of Georgia-Missouri game. During the latter, we got to check out the stadium in all its grandeur.

How Will I-85 Repair Affect SunTrust Park Games?

The Atlanta Braves ushered in opening day with a game against the Mets Monday in New York. The Braves don't come home until April 14, when they play the San Diego Padres.

The Braves are strongly encouraging fans to purchase pre-paid parking passes to games as they will help alleviate delays around the stadium.

Also, the squad has partnered with traffic app Waze to allow SunTrust Park event-goers to find the easiest routes to the stadium.

The ballpark's property includes The Battery residences and The Roxy, a concert venue across the street. Lil Wayne is breaking the building in on May 8.

The Braves officially left Turner Field on Dec. 31, ending a 20-year run at the ballpark, which saw a World Series championship in 1995. The Braves hope to score with fans as well at their new address in Cobb County.

The Braves will offer private shuttles to its parking lots as well as high areas of interest around the ballpark, the team said.
