Smyrna Man Indicted in Wife's Death
If convicted of all charges, he could face life in prison without parole.

A Smyrna man has been indicted on murder charges in connection with the December 2012 death of his wife.
A Cobb County indictment handed down April 4 alleges that on Dec. 5, 31-year-old Derrick McLaurence Williams used his hands to choke 33-year-old Finesse Dawson at a home on Old Springs Road.
After allegedly beating and strangling Dawson to death, Williams cleaned up his wife's body and wrapped her in bedding to hide the crime before fleeing the scene, investigators told Patch at the time.

Williams was , and extradited back to Cobb.
He is at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center without bond on various charges, including malice murder, felony murder and two counts of aggravated assault.

If convicted of all charges, he could face life in prison without parole.
No arraignment date has been set, said Kim Isaza, spokeswoman for Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds.
