- Some Cobb County residents may see a delayed water bill this month. The delay comes from an issue with a contractor and may result in higher-than-normal bills for some residents, which will be balanced out with a shorter billing period the following month. (Cobb County)
- Six Flags Over Georgia will be hosting several job fairs to hire more than 1,000 Georgia employees. The park will host job fairs on Jan. 28, Feb. 4, and Feb. 11 at 10:00 a.m. to hire for the upcoming 2023 season. The Cobb County park will also be hiring daily with walk-in interviews. (WSB-TV)
- Georgia's gas tax suspension expired on Tuesday. Starting today (Jan. 11), Georgians will once again incur tax when buying gas. Overall, Georgians saw an average of 30 cents per gallon in savings while the suspension was in effect, and the state lost about $300 million to $400 million in revenue. (WSB Atlanta)
