String of Break-Ins Lead to Smyrna Teens
They each face charges that include 10 counts of burglary in the second degree and nine counts of theft by receiving.

Two Smyrna teens were arrested this week in connection with a string of auto break-ins and thefts at area apartments.
James D'antae Applegate and Eriq Jamal Williams were found Monday with stolen car keys, GPS units, CDs, phone chargers, golf clubs, sunglasses, motorcycle helmets, a tool kit, a stereo, a CD player, a wallet and more, according to Cobb County criminal warrants.
The suspects allegedly broke into 10 different vehicles at apartments in the 1200 and 1300 blocks of South Lea Court; the 1200 block of North Lea Court; the 1400 block of North Diane Court; and the 1400 block of Springwood Dr.

All of the break-ins occurred around 1 a.m. Sunday, according to the warrant.
Both teens were arrested Monday. They each face charges that include 10 counts of burglary in the second degree and nine counts of theft by receiving. Applegate faces an additional charge of obstruction. Despite orders from a Smyrna police officer to stop, Applegate allegedly tried to flee an area in the 8000 block of Drawbridge Rd.

Online jail records list the year the suspects were born (1995), but not the month and day.
Both teens are in the Smyrna City Jail. Williams is being held in lieu of $25,000 bond. Applegate is in custody without bond.
