Three Teenagers Shot At Smyrna Shopping Center: Police

Three male teens suffered multiple gunshot wounds Friday night at a shopping center in Smyrna, police say.

SMYRNA, GA -- Police in Smyrna are investigating a triple shooting that happened Friday night in a shopping center. Three teenagers suffered gunshot wounds in the incident, which occurred about 11:30 p.m., police said.

Officers with the Smyrna Police Department responded to a call about multiple persons being shot at the Cobb Center Shopping Center located at 2148 S. Cobb Drive Smyrna, GA 30080. Three male teenagers had been shot "multiple times," according to a Smyrna PD news release. The trio sustained serious injuries and were taken to metro-Atlanta hospitals. Two of the wounded have non-life threatening injuries while the third teen is in serious condition, police said.

Law enforcement officials are working to determine a motive and identify the shooter, police said.
