- The Georgia Department of Public Safety reports that two traffic fatalities occurred in Cobb County during the Thanksgiving travel period. Statewide, there were 18 traffic fatalities. The Thanksgiving holiday travel period is between Wednesday, Nov. 23, and Sunday, Nov. 27. Click for the full report breakdown. (Cobb County Courier)
- Dave Matthews made an appearance in Cobb County for U.S. Senate candidate Raphael Warnock. The popular singer performed "Save Me" at the Battery Atlanta. Warnock is running against Herschel Walker. Early voting for the Dec. 6 runoff election is currently underway. (GPB)
- The Cobb County Police Department arrested a suspect who was trying to open doors in nearby Kennesaw. The suspect was caught on surveillance footage from a Ring Doorbell. The suspect has been charged with loitering and prowling. The department is encouraging residents to report suspicious behavior. (Fox 5 Atlanta)
