Vinings Ice Cream Social Set For July 16

VININGS, GA -- To beat the heat and enjoy some treats in the process, the Vinings Historical Preservation Society is inviting the public to attend the annual Vinings Ice Cream Social next month. The date, July 16, coincides with the celebration of National Ice Cream Day.

The social, which will take place at the Historic Pace House and Pavilion at 3057 Paces Mill Road, will run from 1 to 3 p.m. (To get notified of more local news like this, click here to sign up for the Vinings Patch. Free parking will be available directly across the street and an officer will be on hand to get you across.

The event is sponsored by Cold Stone Creamery and will benefit the Vinings Historical Preservation Society. The social is free to society members. The event is free for kids 12 years old and under. Tickets for adults will be $5 in advance and $10 on site.
