What's Open, Closed In Smyrna, Vinings For 4th Of July

SMYRNA-VININGS, GA — In observance of the Fourth of July holiday this weekend, most federal, state and local government offices are closed Monday.
There will be no mail delivery. Many businesses are open but with different hours — so it's not a bad idea to check before heading out.

Here's a breakdown of how the holiday could impact your routine:
- Cobb County government offices are closed on Monday, July 5.
- Municipal offices for the city of Smyrna are closed on Monday, July 5.
- The Cobb County Public Library system is closed Monday; however library's digital resources are available. Normal hours resume July 6.
- Smyrna garbage pick up: For residents within the city of Smyrna's city limits, Monday routes will be picked up Tuesday, and Tuesday routes will be picked up Wednesday. All other routes are unchanged. No large items or yard debris will be picked up this week.
- The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority will operate bus service and Atlanta streetcar service on Sunday schedules on Monday, July 5. Rail service will operate on a modified Sunday schedule on Monday. Additionally, there's a special holiday schedule July 3-5, which can be found here.
- This is a federal holiday and all U.S. Postal Service post offices are closed Monday. There will be no mail delivery or pickup, with the exception of Priority Mail Express, which is delivered 365 days per year.
- All banks will be closed.
