Accused Snellville Shooter Taken Into Custody
A person accused of shooting in a Snellville home has been taken into custody following a SWAT incident, police say.
SNELLVILLE, GA — A shooting led to a SWAT incident overnight at a Pate Road home, Snellville Police said Wednesday.
Officers responded to the home after a resident reported a family member was shooting inside the home, police said. Everyone was safely evacuated, but the suspect refused to leave the home, police said.
A SWAT team was then activated, and the suspect was taken into custody, police said. Potential charges are unknown.

Early Wednesday morning, investigators were working to collect evidence, and police said there was no threat to the public.
