The Mayor's Office is pleased to announce that Monday, February 27, 2012 at the regular meeting of the mayor and council a display of portrait's representing all of the previous mayors of Snellville will be unveiled.
Many of the black and white portraits are original photographs that have been reframed. The portraits will be displayed at City Hall on the Wall of Mayors inside the council hhambers. Mayor Kautz would like to thank the Snellville Historical Society for archiving the portraits, former Mayor Emmett Clower for his photography and city staff for all of their hard work on this project. Â

The portraits date back to 1923.
"Restoring the mayors' portraits to City Hall was a priority for me once I was elected. I belief that we must show respect to those men who led and shaped our City, to our past, so that we can move forward with our future," Kautz said.Â
