Kathy Schrader, a Gwinnett Superior Court Candidate, Helps Injured Officers

PRESS RELEASE

Kathy Schrader, candidate for Superior Court of Gwinnett County, continues her broad based support of local organizations in Gwinnett this weekend.  Schrader, a long time supporter of local law enforcement, participated in the 5th Annual Ride for Injured Officers Bike and Car Show at Jeffrey’s in Braselton.  The event was sponsored by the Gwinnett Police Employee Benevolent Fund, Law Riders MC, and Jeffrey’s Sport’s Grill.

For more information about the event and how you can help, go to www.rideforinjuredcops.com.  The competition among the bikers and cars was very close and exciting. Many of Kathy’s volunteers and supporters were on hand to help with the festivities, including her parents, Joe and Nancy McCart of Braselton. (See attached photo.)

Schrader’s commitment to her community and her profession continues to accumulate impressive endorsements for her race.  She indicates that she has more leadership experience in the Gwinnett Bar Association than all of her challengers combined.  She is the only candidate in any of the judicial races that carries the title of past president. Additionally, more past presidents and current officers of the Gwinnett Bar Association have endorsed Schrader than any other candidate.  As qualifying draws closer and the legal community begins to align itself with their chosen candidate, one thing is very clear.

Kathy Schrader’s 25 years of litigation experience have earned her high marks and respect among her peers and colleagues.   Schrader is also recognized as a leader in the areas of family law, domestic violence and juvenile justice.  Schrader has indicated that the Superior Court is one of many jurisdictions, but most of the Superior Court judges will acknowledge that a majority of the cases heard are family law cases.  Schrader’s experience in complex family law matters will serve the public well as she hears these cases.
