Snellville Middle Begins FBLA Chapter, Student Sixth in Recent Contest

Snellville Middle established a FBLA chapter this year with 48 members. This chapter was encouraged and motivated by the Georgia State Secretary, , who is an alumni of Snellville Middle.

As a new FBLA Chapter, they made a great accomplishment by receiving 18 medals at the Region Leadership Conference in February. All members who were honored with medals qualified to advance to the State Leadership Conference.

This conference was held on March 1 in Macon Georgia at the Centreplex Coliseum and Convention Center. As a result, a FBLA member by the name of Zoe Wimby placed sixth place for the 2012 Middle Level State Business Spelling Competition.

So, just imagine what the future holds for Snellville Middle School.
