Tornado Watch Today Until 4 p.m.

There is a tornado watch for the Snellville area until 4 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Meteorologists issued the recent advisory at 10:37 a.m., Feb. 23.

The tornado watch includes 11 counties: Banks, Barrow, Clarke, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Hall, Jackson, Madison, Oconee, Rockdale and Walton.

A tornado watch means that weather conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms to produce tornadoes.
