Armed Robbery at Snellville's La Quinta Inn

The armed suspect was wearing a white towel around his head, according to Snellville Police.

Money was taken in a robbery reported at La Quinta Inn in Snellville last week.

According to Snellville Police, the incident took place at around 9:02 p.m. April 17 at the hotel, located at 2971 West Main Street.

The manager told police that a man walked through the front lobby entrance with a gun in his hand, according to a police report obtained by Snellville Patch. He then jumped over the counter and asked the employee where the money was.

After the victim told him where it was, the suspect took the money, jumped back over the counter and exited the hotel on foot.

The manager believes the same suspect has robbed them before because he used the same method of operation as the perpetrator in the previous incident.

The victim said the suspect was a black male in his late 20s and was 6-feet tall. He wore a white towel on his head and a black hooded sweatshirt. From surveillance footage, police also observed that he was wearing white Nike tennis shoes.
