Girl Struck By Bus While Walking to School: Police
Gwinnett Police: The girl was air-lifted to the hospital after she was hit by a Primrose bus on her way to Brookwood ES. No charges filed.
A 10-year-old girl was sent to the hospital in critical condition after she was struck by a preschool bus Friday morning while walking to school, police said
Gwinnett Police said the girl was air-lifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta after the incident, which happened around 8 a.m. at Holly Brook Road and Brentford Lane, not far from Brookwood Elementary School.
Police said the girl was struck by a Primrose school bus.

“According to accounts, the driver of the bus was traveling South on Holly Brook Road,” Gwinnett Police Public Information Officer Cpl. Deon Washington said in a news release. “As the driver turned left onto Brentford Lane, the pedestrian quickly entered the roadway and was struck by the bus.”
Neither the driver nor the lone passenger were injured.

The driver was determined not to be at fault, and was not cited.
