SNELLVILLE, GA — Gwinnett County Police have arrested and charged a man accused of murder and armed robbery, as well as additional crimes, in Snellville. Terrence Darnell Lee, 32, of Conyers, is charged with the home invasion-murder and armed robbery that took place on Grand Manor Trail in Snellville, July 28.

Authorities say Lee fatally shot Kemar Hawkins, 27, during a home break-in in the 3500 block of Grand Manor Trail in Snellville. According to police, shortly after the murder, a red Dodge Journey was seen leaving the area on a private security camera. Lee was suspected as the burglar because he had access to the vehicle during the time of the murder.
