Early Tuesday morning voters reported problems with voting in Snellville. One person reported going to vote and was told him he had already cast a vote. He said the poll worker checked three times, and asked if he voted in last three weeks. When he said he had not voted already, the poll workers filed a pink slip and deleted the prior cast ballot, issued a new regular ballot and the voter voted.

Another Gwinnett polling place -- the Annistown Elementary School precinct near Snellville -- is extending its hours to 7:25 pm, because of problems earlier in the morning with its electronic express polling system.
Sorenson said the correct procedure is for the poll worker to call the elections manager and find out what the issue is. Likely they were issued an absentee ballot, he said. The absentee ballot has to be cancelled and then the voter can vote normally.
"The voter needs to work with the poll manager," he said. "Call the elections headquarters and talk to elections manager."

Another voter in Snellville reported on Twitter that the polling machines didn't have power cords.
Sorenson said this poll location opened on time and machines without power cords ran on battery power. He said paper ballots were issued for only 15 minutes. So far, this location will not be staying open later than the normal 7 p.m. closing time.
