McDonalds New Mighty Wings Take Flight

McDonald's restaurants in the Atlanta area, including Loganville and Grayson, began serving Mighty Wings on Aug. 9.

Atlanta area McDonalds today became the only restaurants in the chain to serve the new McDonald’s Mighty Wings.

According to Kim Leslie, an account associate with MSL representing Greater Atlanta McDonald’s, and area McDonald’s restaurants will be participating in the rollout of the Mighty Wings.

“Atlanta will be the only market in the U.S. to offer Mighty Wings in 2012. The crispy, crunchy, spicy, bone-in chicken wings will be available while supplies last,” Leslie said. “Mighty Wings offer Atlantans a new option to satisfy their chicken cravings, whether they prefer drumettes or flats, sauce or no sauce, eating solo or with friends. The wings are available in three, five and 10 piece options that can be enjoyed by themselves or paired with an array of sauces.”

  •      Creamy Ranch
  •      Spicy Buffalo
  •      Tangy BarBeQue

“Research shows that our guests today want more meaty, bone-in chicken options,” Donavon Groen, president of the Greater Atlanta McDonald’s Operator’s Association, said in the release. “McDonald’s is excited to bring chicken lovers across Atlanta a great-tasting wing that delivers a new, unexpected flavor experience that is bold and delicious.”
