Parking Lot Sex Arrest - Was it Worth It?
Some Patch commenters think police time could be better used than arresting a couple accused of a sexual encounter in their car. What do you think?

A Patch report last week that a man and woman had been arrested in connection with a sex act in a Snellville Kroger parking lot led some Gwinnett residents to question whether law enforcement resources were being used properly.
"I feel so much safer knowing these dangerous criminals have been dealt with ....," Patch user Grant wrote in the article's comments section.
Added George Wilson: "I agree with you ... By the way, if you review the crimemapping website more serious crime is being committed in this general area."

And Thomas J. wrote: "It's incredible the police spent the time and effort to prosecute someone for this. Everyone I know has had some type of sex in a car at least once in their life and marijuana should be legal as it's a lot safer than alcohol. With all the violent crime going on Gwinnett Police think this is what they should be looking for????"
What do you think? Should people be arrested for sex acts in cars? Or should police turn their attention to more serious crimes? Join the conversation on the original article or in the comments below.
