Snellville School Stabbing: Student Injured, 1 Arrested: Report
The Brookwood High School student suspect was arrested soon after the school stabbing Thursday, a media report says.
SNELLVILLE, GA — A stabbing at Brookwood High School injured a student, and another student has been arrested in connection with the stabbing, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
It is unknown what led to the stabbing.
Atlanta News First reported the student suspect, who was not identified, was arrested in an area near the school within 30 minutes of the stabbing.

Brookwood High Principal Brett Savage sent a letter to parents earlier in the day, which Fox 5 acquired. It read, in part:
"A student was found injured in a school bathroom and was transported to the hospital for care. We are deeply concerned for his well-being and are hoping for a full recovery. An investigation into the incident is currently underway. We understand this situation may be unsettling, and we want to assure you that the safety and security of our students and staff is our top priority. Brookwood High School remains safe and is operating on its normal schedule."
