1. City Council Meeting: The Snellville City Council will meet Monday, July 22, for its second session of the month. It will start at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers of Snellville City Hall, located at 2342 Oak Rd., with a work session preceding it at 6:30 p.m. in the Room 145. The agenda for the evening can be found here.
2. Ahimsa House Fundraiser: Mellow Mushroom in Snellville is raising funds Monday night for Ahimsa House, which helps people and animal victims of domestic violence. Stop by between 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm for raffle drawings, prizes and of course, pizza. Click here for more details.
3. "Cabaret": New London Theatre in Snellville continues this Friday through Sunday with this play about a cabaret performer and an AmericanÂ
writer falling in love during the start of the Third Reich. It's the last weekend for it, so be sure to catch it before it's gone forever! For times and ticket information, click here.
4. Bruster's Scoop Night Fundraiser: We all scream for ice cream! St. Matthew's Preschool & Kindergarten in Snellville will be holding its Summer Scoop Night on Wednesday, July 24, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. A percentage of all sales will go to the school and playground. Click here for more details.
5. Snellville Farmers Market: Grab your shopping bags and head to the Snellville Farmers Market for locally grown produce, pastas and other goodies. It's held every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon in front of Snellville City Hall, located at 2342 Oak Rd.Â
