Woman Killed In Snellville Shooting ID'd; Suspect Charged With Murder
The fatal shooting happened in the 3500 block of Stone Mountain Highway, police say.

SNELLVILLE, GA — Police have identified the person killed in a Saturday evening shooting in the 3500 block of Stone Mountain Highway.
Banchamlak Abuhay Bogale, 50, was shot and killed around 7:30 p.m., Gwinnett County Police said Monday. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The suspect, who police identified as 67-year-old Stone Mountain resident Abera Ayana, was subdued by witnesses at the scene, police said.

The shooting was domestic-related, police said.
Ayana is being charged on suspicion of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, police said.
