Armed Robber Takes Cash, Flees Austell Boost Mobile

The Cobb County Police Department is looking for the man who walked into the Austell Boost Mobile Thursday evening, flashed a gun and demanded money.

Just before 6:20 p.m. Thursday, a man wearing a blue-hooded sweatshirt and a black mask walked into the store at 361 Six Flags Dr. with a a silver semi-automatic handgun, said Officer Mike Bowman, the spokesman for the agency. 

After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash from the business, he fled the store in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall, 190- to 220-lb. black male with a dark complexion, Bowman said.
